Valle de Uco Argentina
I am delighted to announce that I have recently signed a deal to design an 18 hole championship course in the world famous wine region of Mendoza, Argentina. It will be the centre-piece of the magnificent 5 star Valle de Uco wine & golf estate. I have already visited the site and it is truly spectacular. The course will weave its way through a luxurious gated community of villas and vineyards with a view towards the Andes that takes you breath away. Two of my great passions are wine and golf, so you can imagine how excited I am about this project.
There will be some beautiful golf and wine villas, a 5* boutique hotel, tennis academy, spa and wellness centre, fishing and riding and of course a wine pavilion and some fantastic restaurants. We are so excited about this project that we have reserved some villas overlooking the signature par 5 18th hole. All the holes will be named after a grape and the 18th is my favourite – Malbec. The design of the course is almost complete and the land is being prepared for construction as we speak.
